The enzyme G6PD
The enzyme G6PD, also known as glucose-6-phosphate, is an enzyme Cryptozoic in the pentose phosphate pathway, also called the road gluconate phosphorus, and is essential to maintain the level of co-enzyme NADPH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate) in red blood cells during metabolism. dehydrogenase glucose-6-phosphate is the rate-controlling enzyme of this pathway.
