Recently, the hypoglycaemic effect was observed with leaf extract and seed oil, normally and alloxan induced diabetic rabbits. leaves and bark of neem aqueous extracts produce highly potent anti-acid secretion and ulcer-vaginal application activity.Intra neem oil, prior to intercourse can prevent pregnancy. It could be a novel method of seed and leaf extracts are effective against both choroquin contraception.Neem resistant and sensitive strains of malaria parasites. The neem leaf extract, neem oil seeds grains are effective against certain fungi such as Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, Trichosporon Microspora, Geotricum and Candida.

The oil from the leaves, seeds and bark possess a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity against microorganisms Gram-negative and Gram-positive, including M. TB strains resistant to streptomycin. In vitro, it inhibits Vibrio cholerae Klebsiella pneumoniae, M. M. tuberculosis pyogenes. effects antimicrobial neem extract have been demonstrated against Streptococcus mutans and S. faecalis. Water extract of the leaf provides antiviral activity against vaccinia virus, and viruses Chikungemya measles.

neem leaf aqueous extract effectively suppresses oral squamous cell carcinoma induced by 7, 12-dimethyl [a] anthracene (DMBA), as revealed by a lower incidence of neoplasms. Neem may exert its chemopreventive effect in the oral mucosa by modulation of glutathione and its enzymes metabolized. Varying degrees of central nervous system (CNS) depressant activity in mice was observed with leaf extract. Fractions of acetone extract of the road shows significant activity of the central nervous system depressant.
