Glutathione For Nebulizer

glutathione for nebulizer

How do I use a nebulizer without hyperventilating?

A few years ago, I was using a nebulizer to inhale my glutathione medicine made by a local compounding Dr. here in town for my emphyzema and ended up hyperventilating. How do I inhale the vapor deeply without this happening again? Should I use the nose mask instead and breathe deeply through my nose? If I use a face mask, do I inhale through my mouth or keep it closed and just use my nose? My Dr. said to inhale deeply using the mothpiece.I know that hyperventilating happens when you inhale too much oxyegen and I don’t want that to happen again. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

When you use the nebulizer you must take deep breathes to get the meds in your lungs. But the key is to take slow breathes that make your stomach rise (when inhaling) and stomach deflate (when exhaling). Try to hold your breathe for 3 seconds or so in between. That way you insure getting the needed benefits of your treatment.
