Nac Glutathione

nac glutathione

As the number of chemicals and pollutants in our environment is slowly increasing, detoxification becomes an ever more important to the good life health. Everyone has the ability to effectively decontaminate different, and those who have the ability to detox the weakest are the canaries in our world experiencing the first symptoms.

Symptoms of toxicity

In my clinical practice, there are several symptoms that I use for measuring the toxicity of a person. The most common are changes in short-term memory or concentration and fatigue. If you have symptoms such as low energy, difficulty thinking, word search, the loss of recent memory, forgetting why they went into another room, or in refrigerator or in a store, they could be early signs of toxicity.

The fatigue experienced by my patients can be very gradual at first, seem to affect the morning and afternoon of energy. Paradoxically, the energy can go up at night causing difficulty sleeping and insomnia. Other symptoms of poisoning with headache pain, muscle spasms, indigestion, Change gut, food allergies, sensitivity to chemicals and odors, sugar and / or the desire for salt, hypoglycemia (not to maintain the levels of sugar in the blood for more than two or three hours without eating) weight gain, water retention, a metallic taste in the mouth, ringing in the ears, hormonal imbalances, PMS, low libido infertility, changes in the skin and itching, yeast proliferation, recurrent or persistent viral diseases and depression and anxiety. As you can see from this list of symptoms, which can be very specific and can mimic other diseases.

How to detoxify

For many of my patients, the elimination Stored toxins may be quite difficult. Because most toxins are poorly soluble in fat and excreted by the body, they can often accumulate in the body of fat cells or fat or fat bodies, such as the nervous system.

The main function of the detoxification system is change these lipophilic (fat soluble) toxins hydrophilic (water soluble). The body does this by adding electrons to toxins, making more ionic and soluble in water which can be mobilized out of cells. In the liver, toxins are further processed and eventually forced to amino acids, glutathione, glucuronic acid, methylating agents, etc., so they are soluble enough to be excreted in the urine and intestines (the most common route of excretion). Mobilized toxins may also be directly removed from the skin through sweat.

The problem of detoxification for the majority of my patients is the first step in mobilizing toxins from cells. Detoxification involves placing electron-electron donor such as vitamin C, which requires energy. The problem in patients with toxic is that its system power is changed to a less energy efficient.

Normally, cells derive their energy from oxidative phosphorylation, which uses fats called essential fatty acids as a source of energy. But for those who are toxic, can cause a change in metabolism the cell to return to a less efficient supply of energy called glycolysis. This occurs when the body uses sugar and salt to produce energy, much less efficient at producing energy.

In this vicious circle races toxicity of fatigue, with consequent downward in the detoxification and toxicity. The change in the metabolism of sugar can cause fatigue, muscle aches and joint pain, sugar and / or Salt increases the desire and acidosis, which can also yeast overgrowth and Candida albicans.

Enhanced Detox

Improved elimination of toxins through the liver is an important part of an effective detoxification system. There are two phases of detoxification the liver, the first phase is the treatment of the toxin to be more soluble in water, which requires more nutrients, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. The second phase involves toxin binding to a compound which will complete its conversion to water solubility. Glutathione (and their precursors, such as MSM, NAC, whey protein), taurine, glycine and methyl B12 are a few examples of these agents.

cellular detoxification is more difficult because of the energy situation we described. In addition to supplements to help detoxify the liver, specific measures may be useful in the mobilization of intracellular toxins. First, the cells need more energy and a healthy diet needs a strong emphasis on foods with low glycemic index. Refined products sugar and trans fatty acids toxicity and complicate the situation. Fatty acids essentials like fish oil and flaxseed oil are very helpful in providing more cellular energy and inhibition of inefficiency the cell membrane.

Other agents that inhibit the toxic effects on cell membranes could be glycine, taurine, and grass Sophora. We mentioned this earlier budding valuable because of its value in supporting the body's ability to decrease membrane excitability and make work more efficient cell membrane. Two herbs that support detoxification are sarsaparilla and dandelion root. These herbs have been used in medicine East for hundreds of years as the blood and liver cleansing.

Simple Steps to detoxify

If my patients are symptoms of toxicity usually recommend that you do the following:

Stop any activity that contributes to the toxicity Living in a mold, drinking unfiltered water, eating too much about that arsenic, lead or mercury, avoiding exposure pesticides and other chemicals. In other other words, it is important to identify and avoid exposure to more toxic.

Eat healthy low-sugar, diet low in salt. Chew slowly and take probiotics such as Lactobacillus. Drink plenty of clean water (for flush out the kidneys) and regular bowel movements (constipation naturally prevents excretion) further enhances the elimination of toxins.

The nutrients that could contribute to the Phase I liver detoxification and are multi-mineral/multi-vitamins sublingual Methyl B12. agent phase II Detoxification can be natural foods like garlic, onions or other cruciferous vegetables (eg broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, etc.) A additional version may be N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC) or glutathione. Adding fish oil or flaxseed oil may also be useful.

Perspiration, either by exercise or a sauna, a good detoxifier.

There are also very effective herbs that help maintain the body's natural ability to excrete toxins stored. Some of these include herbal extracts of Sophora, lion tooth root and sarsaparilla. Since the energy is depleted kidney toxicity than the herbs that support the energy of the kidneys may also be useful.

What are the best precursors of glutathione, and why should I go?

I was watching the precursors of glutathione. Usually I read that the precursors are cysteine, glutamic acid and glycine. But I also read that ALA may increase the production of glutathione – Is a precursor too? And I think NAC is a cysteine best type to take. What is the best combination of glutathione preursors, in which I provide maximum production of glutathione? Thank you Lance. In fact, I have allergies to cow milk /! I am also facing a long illness which means that the needs of my body is fairly high right now, so I'm looking to complete precursors, once can see that the best relationship.

Until you no allergies to proteins in certain types of milk, my preference is not denature whey proteins as a source of cysteine as a precursor to the production of glutathione. I understand that your body can produce too glutathione – Glutathione Production stops once you reach a certain level – so that you can not have "too much" glutathione. Precursors, in addition, that's another story. As mentioned above, if you have allergies protein of certain types of milk, then you should seek alternatives to non-denatured whey. In addition, NAC is possible to consume too much. Edit: My daughter Elder also has the milk (and many others) allergies. She is trying to improve their levels of glutathione for that diet – the link "know Your source below also has a page on natural foods to Increase Glutathione levels – much cooler blueberries, cranberries and figs. She also Extreme protein supplement. bovine serum (as opposed to cow's milk protein non-denatured whey) with a higher concentration of immunoglobulins Bioactive peptides and to help keep your immune system without running the risk of a reaction reaction because of their allergy. Not sure if this is useful, but good luck.
